It's that time of year. The morning glories have started blooming.

Unfortunately, I have been doing a lot related to the knee---stitches come out tomorrow!----which has made sitting down at a desk hard, but hopefully with continued improvement, that will change.

This election has left me stunned with horror. Why didn't people see this coming, our children will be asked. If they survive. Why didn't you do something?

Why didn't we, indeed.

I never thought I would live to see a Gold Star father savaged in the press. That day has come.

Later, I'm going to sit down. See you then.

In answer to your question: we're living in 1930s Berlin.

Yes. And all the hatred that one party keeps hidden is out in the open.

I miss morning glories and lilacs. So pretty...

I've actually talked to Republican friends who are scared to death of Trump winning, but they won't vote for HRC because 'She's a politician', or 'She's a liar', or 'Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi'.

You can only show them how wrong they are so many times. :-(

My 71- year old dad, a lifelong Republican, has NEVER liked Hillary.

He told me, to my face, he's going to vote *for* her this year because Dump "disgusts" him so much.

Would that more Republicans/conservatives come to their senses asap and realize how important this is, like my dad did.
