I actually noticed that someone who was on my flist a long time ago had friended you too at some point, and you had friended him back. Afterward, he unfriended you. I surmised this, anyway, because you were no longer on his flist but he was on yours, and he had added some snarky shit to his userinfo about how he didn't want to friend people who make a lot of FOAD posts or sweeping overgeneralizations about people. You get accused of that shit a lot, so he might have been talking about you. And yet, while we were on one another's flists I never knew him to leak locked posts, so I figured you'd get around to him sooner or later and stayed out of it.

(It was

tmpiper. And although he seems mostly like a decent person, I wouldn't friend him at this point because he obviously has reading comprehension issues and an attitude problem.)

The bad news is that occassionally LiveJournal defriends people without your approval or knowledge and you only pick up on it if you are looking at your friends list. Or they mention soemthing...

I have been defriended by a couple of people not intentionally on their part. So I would do a verbal/email verification of defriending intentionality ( I don't know if that's a word or not but, I think it makes sense....

	Potentially useful information: If you've got email notifications on, paid accounts receive an email when they're defriended. If you don't want to pay for an account (and I don't blame you) multiple free third-part Livejournal posting tools, like my personal favourite Semagic, can track your Friends list and tell you when people unfriend you.
