And another thing....

Just because I just watched "Oblivion" and what the FUCK WAS THAT?

Don't even try that 'The Earl of Oxford probably wrote Shakespeare's plays' shit with me, either. Just FYI. Today's going to be irritating. Don't add to it.

The only one who gets a conditional pass was Mark Twain, who made it funny. Otherwise the proponents of other candidates are usually as thoughtful and restrained as leg-humping dogs.

There's a huge reason why Oxford couldn't have written the plays and it's right there in the fucking pedigree information. When did Shakespeare die? And when did Oxford kick the bucket?

Since I haven't seen "Oblivion" I have no idea what the connection is.

Last year I read a book titled "Sweet Swan of Avon" by Robin P. Williams that put forth the idea that the works were written by a woman. She put forth some rather convincing arguments but since I know little on the subject an expert might find hundreds of reasons why she is wrong.

I don't find many arguments about it convincing at all because basically they're all elitest and idiotic. The Great Fire of London in 1666 wiped out Gawd only knows how many churches, charterhouses, and other places where paper records were kept. The absence of evidence, therefore, does not mean the absence of existence. It just means the proof could have been burned up in the fires that plagued the towns of the era. As Bill Bryson says, using the same tactics the Oxfordians use make it possible to argue that Shakespeare's notoriety resulted from his refusal to wear pants, not from the artistry of his writing.
